Question: When do I need a survey?
A survey is smart prior to the purchase of any property. A survey will define the properties' boundaries for the buyer and/or the seller.A survey can be used for the resolution of a dispute regarding property boundaries. For any survey we will clearly stake and flag property corners. A copy of the survey is regarded as a legal document and may be used in court. Surveys will typically note any encroachments of adjacent properties' buildings and/or fences, etc.Surveys are required in most cities for building improvements and additions (such as decks or driveways) to commercial, governmental, and residential properties.

Question: Do you perform residential surveys?
Yes, we perform all types of residential surveys including boundary surveys, tree surveys, fence surveys, utilities, elevation certificates, topography, and all improvements to the property.

Question: Do I need an ALTA / ACSM survey?
Many lending institutions will require an ALTA/ACSM survey in commercial loans. Contact your lending institution or real estate broker for further information.
